The step down converter is the power unit to make the output voltage which is lower than the input voltage.
The converter which was made this time makes +2V to +10V output voltage with the input voltage of +12V.
Because it makes the limitation value of the input electric current about 1.3A, the maximum with the input electric power is about 16W.

Hi
This circuit is close to what I want to construct.
I have a 25-0-25V transformer and I want to make a variable voltage power supply based on this. The basic rectification and smoothing is no problem. Ideally I want of 1.5-20V (+ve and -ve) with a maximum of 1A output.
Would changing VR1, R2 and R3 be enough?
Regards
Andrew
