5Watt Tube Audio Power Amplifier Circuit With EL84

The EL84 is one of the best pipes ever made, IMO, 3-triode EL84 wired in parallel and replace a sonically outperform WE300B in the same circuit (circuit originally 300B).

And each of you probably know, I’m not a fan of tubes parallel to all.I would be very interested to know the success of an amplifier EL84 September

I thought everyone should know that I did for the beginning of the plan at first this thread and its good work. Most of all values for ressistors and caps I used are fairly similar, if not the same as what is in the map. Although I used a plug in multiple sets of filterstage before taking the state wave diode rectifier sound. In the first test no sound, so I cliped feedback negative lead goes to ground and it worked and I cliped feedback and lead others there was no difference in sound if c is finished. Its units strong enough and a lot of 12 “speaker very clearly.

Here are the results of the test:

B 1 = 331VDC, 262VDC B = 2, B 3 = 235VDC

EL84 = PIN9 = 261V, 311VDC bias pin7 = = 47th, PIN3 = 6VDC

    I would like to build one of these but not all values are explicit.

    For example, power line B is connected to EL84 by a 1kOhm/1W resistor. Power line C is connected to the 12AX7 by a 100kOhm resistor. How many Watts for this resistor? Several resistors are not fully described.

    The voltage specification of the signal capacitors is also not explicit in the circuit map. Is it that evident? yet, when I purchase a 100 uF capacitor someone will ask me «how many volts?»

    I suppose I’ll have to try and burn a few parts before I get right.

    Hi, I agree with Rui, some more detail would be good. What ratio the OT?

    The ones with no info (such as 100, it’s supossed to be ohm) but, also no info about the ot! or the output is 5w but at 4, 8, 16, 32 ohms???
